HENRY HEMP ADVENTURES

Henry Hemp was a Marijuana advocate back when they were just starting to legalize weed.  He worked a lot of weed Conventions and he was developing a cable TV show about Marijuana.

We were brainstorming about content for his TV show and I suggested that he visit his Secret Marijuana Garden full of all kinds of talking Pot plants.

Henry named the puppet REEFER B HEMP and used it a lot on line promoting Henry Hemp and his various Marijuana activist activities.

The puppet was made out of soft foam with a skin of latex rubber similar to the way GWAR stuff is made,  which allows for a really vibrant really permanent paint job.

Since I already had experience self publishing comics,  We put together this comic to tell the origin story of the talking Pot Plant

Our story begins with an experimental greenhouse that mixes human and Marijuana DNA

Some unidentified authority figures object to this and in a dramatic raid,  they set the place on fire!

Henry had already been working on a Marijuana Super Hero with artist Mike Tucker so it was fun to incorporate SUPER HEMP into the mix
